Dusting off the cobwebs

So, after a short hiatus, I have returned to the EVE universe. I’ve been flying with White Talon Enterprises for a little over a month and a half now, and I’m enjoying it immensely. My old thirst for pvp was never satisfied, so after a brief stint in the Open Univeristy for Celestial Hardships to help get my head back in the game, I’ve moved back to The Forge and set up shop with WTE.

Now, I have a solid plan for my skills, I’ve finished my learning skills, I can fit T2 small hybrids, and my support skills are looking way better. I’m still working to get over the adrenaline surge and jitters that accompany pvp combat, and I’m getting better at fitting ships myself and knowing what to fly when, and how much I can afford to lose. My career kill total has reached 9, unfortunately none of them are solo, which I’m hoping to change soon. I have a pretty wicked Merlin fit now, complete with a MSE, which I think should handle itself fairly well. I took one out for a Corp roam recently with some cruisers and battlecruisers. Unfortunately, anxious for a fight, we fell for some obvious bait from Pandemic Legion, who quickly laid some smack down upon us. Flying with a pair of Guardian logistics ships backing them up, there was no way we could have taken them without some logistics of our own. Several of my fleetmates didn’t make it out of there with their ships intact, myself included. Oh well, next time, PL!
